Changing Education Trajectory for Students

Grant-Funded STEM Programs and Professional Development

The MidAmerica STEM Alliance is a collaborative effort between cross-sectional partners who contribute expertise, resources, and passion to achieve mutually beneficial goals and objectives. The MidAmerica Industrial Park is Oklahoma’s largest industrial park with more than 80 employers in manufacturing, logistics, utilities, and data processing, including names like Google and DuPont.

Officials planning the STEM program implementations said Pitsco was the obvious choice for curriculum provider because of our track record in the STEM education field. Grants purchased products in the areas of coding, robotics, and dragsters as well as professional development for 17 area school districts.

“I think if you can spark interest in kids with STEM activities and show the relevance of learning, then their whole educational trajectory could be totally different.”

– Scott Fry, director of workforce development, MidAmerica Industrial Park
