Oti-Bot (aw-tee bot) is a STEAM robot that offers students opportunities to practice and develop skills in computing, communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
The robot’s many programmable and controllable features make it easy for educators to incorporate coding into core subjects. Oti-Bot can follow a line, sense colors, draw shapes, show 12 different emotions, recognize touch, look up and down, livestream, take photos and videos, record audio, detect sound, and play back audio. Learners can program Oti-Bot through remote control as well as block-based coding through an app. With regular software updates and a replaceable battery, Oti-Bot is future ready and designed to be used for multiple years.
Oti-Bot provides an opportunity for a collaborative classroom experience because small groups of students can work together to operate the robot. If desired, Oti-Bot can be shared among an entire classroom – due to its large size, it’s easy for all students to view the robot in action.
