With its groundbreaking TagTile® system, KUBO introduces the concepts of coding in an easy, hands-on, screen-free way so that children can become creators, innovators, and designers of our future technologies.
With KUBO, students piece together icon-based tiles to create instructions, or code, for their robot to execute. The solution requires no additional technology and is so simple you can be up and running in fewer than five minutes and well on your way to introducing the basics of computational thinking.
This screen-free, hands on solution provides everything you need to teach coding and computational thinking to students throughout elementary school. Also available to teachers is the KUBO School Portal. Signing up for the portal is completely free, and when educators create an account they gain access to onboarding materials, video tutorials, quick-start guides, and a variety of downloadable activities, including hours of content in which students earn their license to code.
The KUBO Coding++ Single Bundle provides a total of 126 TagTiles to use with your KUBO robot and activity map. The tiles, which snap together like the pieces of a puzzle, enable control of basic movements, time, speed, distance, and direction. Students have endless possibilities to develop increasingly complex programs using functions, subroutines, loops, if-then statements, variables, and events.
The KUBO Coding++ Single Bundle is intended to be shared by two to four students and is perfect for rotational center-based learning.
