A Mars colonization effort is underway, so supplies and payloads of various sizes must be sent into space! In these activities, students 3-D print payloads to fit onto solid-fuel rockets and calculate their mass to ensure the rocket can reach escape velocity and enter space. The teacher’s guide comes with setup instructions, background info, nine activities, and more revolving around aerospace and creating a successful payload.
This package comes with rocket kits and engines and is designed for up to 30 older students.
Please note: A 3-D printer is required to complete the activity but is not included. A launch system is recommended to complete all activities within the guide.
