iSprowt Life on Earth

This engaging kit enables students to explore concepts such as heredity, genetic traits, life cycles, and how parents help offspring! Each kit includes all the materials two students will need to complete five NGSS-aligned activities:

• Investigate traits and heredity and then create a three-generation family tree of fictional characters.
• Build a 3-D clay figure of one of the character’s offspring.
• Discover why some animals like to live alone and others live in groups. Then, make a water bead animal to bring the concept of living in a group to life.
• Build and paint a birdhouse.
• Learn about life cycles. Then, soak a special egg in water and observe as a fish hatches. Over the next seven days, measure and chart the fish’s growth.
