Earth’s Revolution Model

This model is a great way to teach about Earth’s revolution around the Sun and its applications to angles. Students create their own models to calculate the different angles of Earth’s position related to the Sun at different times of the year. They measure the angles at each month, equinox, and solstice. Addresses CCSSM and NGSS.

Scissors, a protractor, and a paper fastener are required. Serves 30 students.
