The Bambu Lab X1E 3-D printer makes it easy for students to create quality stable, multicolor prints. With intelligent filament management, the X1E can parallel connect four Bambu Automatic Material Systems (AMS) to print with up to 16 spools, enabling students to create complex multicolor projects. The AMS supports automatic filament reload to help ensure all filament is used before switching to a new one.
The high-speed CoreXY system allows for print speeds of up to 500 mm/s, and the printer can actively compensate for XY-axis vibrations and issues to ensure a smooth print quality. The printer features a heated chamber that reaches up to 60°C (140°F), which improves print quality and reliability. The printer’s nozzle can handle temperatures up to 320°C (608°F).
The X1E’s AI-powered system detects first-layer imperfections, pausing the print so students can correct their designs in real time while reducing filament waste. The printer includes a powerful air filtration system that helps to reduce excessive odors and particulates.
