The 5th Grade Computer Science program uses LUMA® Programmable Robots to make coding and robotics engaging, approachable, and meaningful for all learners. Across approximately 40 hours of standards-aligned instruction, students develop foundational computer science, robotics, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and interactive storytelling—no prior experience required. Guided by animated videos, students join a fictional robotics company to explore how LUMA can improve real-world industries, applying critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration along the way. Scalable and career-focused, this program equips students with the high-demand technical and analytical skills needed for future success in STEM fields while fostering curiosity and confidence in coding.
