The Parachutes STEM Boost Kit is a hands-on science kit for one elementary student. Learners build and test parachutes to explore how gravity and air resistance affect fall time, guided by bilingual student guides (English and Spanish). Students design different parachute shapes and sizes, drop them from various heights, and observe how changes in design influence how slowly or quickly each parachute descends. All supplies are included—no additional materials or technology required. Works in classrooms, makerspaces, afterschool programs, camps, and home learning environments.
