About the MultiGP Drones in Schools program

Drones in Schools gives students the opportunity to join a racing team and apply classroom concepts in real-world challenges. The program uses drone racing to help students develop skills in aeronautics, engineering, project management, entrepreneurship, graphic design, and marketing.

The Drones in Schools season runs from the start of the school year through the Championship Race in late April or early May. Race events usually begin in November and continue through mid-March. Teams can participate in a variety of sanctioned races throughout the school year. As they compete, students earn National Race Points and move closer to receiving an invitation to the National Race at the end of the season.
