Step 1—Unbox and Dock: Remove all six Bee-Bot robots and place them on the rechargeable docking station. Plug the docking station into a power source and let the robots charge fully before first use.

Step 2—Set Up Your Space: Lay out a cross-curricular mat or activity tin on a flat surface. Each mat connects coding to a different subject—choose literacy, math, geography, or science depending on your lesson.

Step 3—Introduce Bee-Bot: Show students the directional buttons on top of Bee-Bot—forward, back, left turn, right turn, go, and clear. Demonstrate a simple two- or three-step program.

Step 4—Code in Groups: Divide students into groups of four around each Bee-Bot. Students take turns planning routes, programming sequences, and pressing GO to watch Bee-Bot execute their code.

Step 5—Debug and Iterate: When Bee-Bot doesn't land where expected, groups press CLEAR, discuss what went wrong, adjust their program, and try again. Every mistake becomes a lesson in debugging.

Step 6—Extend and Personalize: Use pen holders for drawing activities, record custom audio for each button, or challenge students with the activity guide's structured lessons for 30 hours of cross-curricular coding.
