FAQ's

Your tuition cost to attend the training will be 100% covered 

At the start of the first day of in-person training, you’ll receive one set of each of the following hardware, depending on the training track you are in: 

Elementary: 

  • Blue Bot 
  • Luma 
  • Micro:bit 

Middle School: 

  • Micro:bit 
  • Seeker 
  • Arduino 

High School: 

  • Arduino 
  • Tetrix 

Upon successful completion of the entire training sequence (2 in-person days, 5 virtual half days), you’ll receive additional hardware to use towards classroom implementation, and you will receive a $500 honorarium. This can be used for ancillary costs to participate in the training, such as fuel, food, lodging, etc. 

If you attend the two in-person days of training, you will receive the aforementioned hardware for your training sequence to practice with. You will not receive additional hardware for a full classroom set if you do not complete the training in its entirety.   

If you do not attend the entire training sequence, you will not qualify to receive the $500-value stipend. 

Yes, Pitsco will offer certificates of completion at the end of each training session, formally verifying the hours each learner has spent in training.  For each session, 28 hours are available.

Pitsco reserves the right to allow an educator to make up the virtual half-days training sessions on a case-by-case basis.

In-person work cannot be made up.
