Q: Why was I charged sales tax?
A:
Sales tax will be added to all orders unless the organization is registered with Pitsco Education as tax-exempt.

Most states require us to charge sales tax. If you are ordering on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, place your order and then look at the Order Total area. If you are charged tax, fax, e-mail, or mail a copy of your State Sales Tax Exemption Certificate or a completed Multi-State Exemption Certificate to us at:

Q: How can I track my order?
A:
When your order is shipped, we will e-mail you a notice of shipment with your tracking number. This notice will be sent to the e-mail address provided on your order. (Consider adding the domain pitsco.com to your safe senders list to ensure that the message will not be blocked.)

Q: How long will it take to get my order using ground shipping?
A:
Pitsco is centrally located in Pittsburg, Kansas, making ground delivery as fast as expedited shipping for parts of the country. Click here to determine the average number of transit days to your location.

Q: Where's my invoice?
A:
Invoices are sent the morning after your order is shipped. (The invoice will not be in the box with your merchandise). Invoices for orders placed on the Web site are e-mailed to the e-mail address provided on the order. Invoices for orders placed by phone, fax, or mail are sent via the U.S. Post Office.

Q. Rocket engines and/or igniters are missing from my order. Where are they?
A:
Because other carriers impose a hazard fee when shipping these products, we ship rocket engines and igniters separately via the U.S. Postal Service. If your order contains other items, those items will be shipped via our normal carrier. Also, ground delivery is the only method available for any order containing rocket engines and igniters.

Customers may request items to be shipped UPS for an additional hazard fee. Please be sure and note this information on your order.

Q: How do I remove my name from your catalog mailing list?
