A Pitsco Exclusive
$11.65 (USD)
Availability: In Stock

Tre•bu•chet: (tré-buh-shay) a 15th-century military engine used for hurling weapons and rocks.

With the Pitsco Trebuchet Kit, experience the thrill of flinging projectiles like those medieval machines while focusing on height, velocity, and distance – rather than knocking down the enemy’s fortress.

Students can alter characteristics of the trebuchet – projectile (clay) mass, string length, or the counterweight – to test different variables. Students also see these concepts in action: levers, inertia, counterweights, and friction.

Requires a hobby knife, needle-nose pliers, ruler, scissors, sandpaper, and white glue, sold separately.

Type: Multi-Student Project Packs, Project Kits Grades: 6-12
