Looking for a simple but effective way to determine winners of races? This detector is small, highly portable, and a piece of cake to set up and electronically detects the winning lane.
The Win-Win is ideal for any race where two vehicles run on a line such as CO2 dragsters, AP bottle racers, mousetrap vehicles, and propeller cars. First, set up your racing lanes with the acrylic string anchors and monofilament line. Plug the detector and two emitters into the 9 V batteries and, using the batteries as stands, position the detector at the finish line between the two lanes. Finally, position the two emitters on either side of the lane so that they trigger the sensor on the detector. The racing is ready to begin!
The Win-Win Detector can be adjusted to any width or racing lane and doesn’t time out. The winning lane is indicated by an LED blinking 10 times. Comes fully assembled and includes the batteries. Requires duct tape, sold separately.
