With this solar car, you can change the solar panel angle, try out different gear combinations, and switch the two solar panels from series to parallel circuit (or vice versa). These features enable students to test a variety of variables.
Kit requires assembly but can be reused as is or taken apart and reassembled by other classes. Assembly requires small and medium Phillips screwdrivers, small pliers, sandpaper, and transparent tape or cool-melt gun and glue.
Measuring 7-1/2" L x 3" W x 5" H, the car is made of clear acrylic, plastic gears, metal hardware, metal motor, and solar panels with wiring.
