Our asynchronous e-learning course walks you through getting started programming the TETRIX® PRIME robotics building system using the PULSE® controller, Arduino Software (IDE), and Ardublockly programming software. Created by former teachers from our education services team, this course takes the learner through the fundamentals of coding and gives tips to implement coding successfully into the classroom.
Course takers are offered an introduction to the TETRIX PRIME hardware, Arduino Software (IDE), and Ardublockly. Coding basics covered include algorithms, loops, conditional statements, delays, functions, and more. Follow the instructor through four step-by-step coding lessons and learn about the connections between the lessons and the real-world applications. With more than eight hours of instruction coupled with opportunities for hands-on practice, you’ll experience success with programming an autonomous robot and have the resources you need to implement this solution in your classroom. The course wraps up with suggested classroom applications, challenges, next steps, and implementation documents.
Throughout the course, you will be presented with videos, downloadable resources, and quizzes. Upon completing the course, you will gain access to a certificate of completion that can be used for continuing education credits.
Each course is intended for a single user experience.
