Description

This pack enables students to experiment with wave properties, explore the concept of resonance, and examine design strategies for constructing earthquake-resistant buildings. Students incorporate this knowledge to design a tower that can withstand an earthquake.

Students employ seismic waves, plate tectonics, and other key concepts to build simple structures to test on the myQuake. They can also experiment with the Harmonic Highrise Kit to see resonant frequency, among other activities.

The two-student pack provides materials for one team of two students, and the 10-student pack provides the materials for five teams of two students. Requires an NI myDAQ per student team, sold separately.
