“The project (in its entirety) relied heavily on students’ abilities to use logic, problem-solving, and critical thinking as they built a prototype and then redesigned for a ‘better’ glider. Some students focused on aesthetics, some on speed, and others on precision and measurement. I do believe that my classes realized that geometry plays a huge role in our world, and they were exposed to potential careers that could be interesting and fun.”
