Marketing Portfolio Coordinator

SUMMARY: The Marketing Portfolio Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing Catalog’s direct mail and website marketing strategy. This position is responsible for the design, layout, printing, and distribution of catalogs and other printed marketing materials. The Marketing Portfolio Coordinator is also responsible for developing and executing marketing efforts through the Pitsco Education catalog website. This includes designing content and images, assisting with online promotions and campaigns, and managing product images and copy. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Developing and implementing marketing objectives through direct mail and website marketing
  • Working with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to execute effective marketing plans
  • Coordinating the design, layout, print, and distribution of brochures, ads, catalogs, box stuffers, and other marketing materials
  • Working with outside vendors
  • Maintaining and scheduling all graphic projects and providing updates on a regular basis
  • Managing company promotional items and gifts and company-identification materials
  • Coordinating the development and production of all printed materials
  • Implementing the Pitsco Education brand framework throughout all marketing efforts
  • Utilizing data to access the results of print and website marketing efforts
  • Creating plans with measurable outcomes that drive key business objectives with a one-year time horizon
  • Reviewing products for selection
  • Pricing products
  • Analyzing current products and their validity for the market
  • Serving as Team Captain of the Logistics team
  • Attending the meetings of the Product Development team
  • Championing the Web Admin site that is used to store and manipulate product content


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related area preferred
  • Five or more years or equivalent marketing experience with experience in either direct mail marketing, website marketing, or both
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of strategic vision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated worker
  • Flexible, results-oriented team player
  • Travel 20% of time to conventions
  • Ability to life and carry up to 25 pounds
  • General office environment
